Boots and Beards in partnership with Mountain Aid are proud to present an outdoor training course on the 28th of August 2018.
In this one day course, you will learn how to –
· Successfully read a map and safely navigate your way around the Scottish mountains
· How to prepare for and what kit you should take with you
· and also general outdoor skills.
This course normally costs £95 per person but only £20* for supporters of Boots & Beards.
This course will be delivered in an outdoor environment at Loch Lomond National Park (you will need to make your own transport arrangements).
Please note – There are only 8 spaces available, so we will be operating on a strictly first come first serve basis.
Maps, map cases and compasses will be provided however everyone participating are expected to wear hill walking boots on the day. It’s your responsibility to check the weather on the day and dress appropriately.
