After successfully completing a Marketing BA at university Naveed set up and ran his own business. As a father of 4 boys, he had always felt very passionate about the outdoors and connecting his children with their natural surroundings from a young age. This passion and interest then became one he wanted to share with the community in particular the ethnic minority community. Naveed found that community members were not accessing the outdoors and felt having the access could have a positive effect on people especially in terms of health and wellbeing. This led to co-founding Boots & Beards with Kash and Zain. As Programme Manager Naveed is the driving force behind B&B’s current and future initiatives. Naveed’s goal is to establish Boots & Beard’s vision throughout the rest of Scotland and inspire future generations to lead healthier and happier lives.
